Sharon Mart

I agree! I don't know who owns it, but I do think a good soup and bread (takeout place) would be awesome. Anyone want to invest? Chip and Susan, remember we talked about this? I still think it is a great idea. I'm not sure if the old Sharon Mart is for sale, or for rent. Does anyone know? I once called to see what it would cost to rent a small space in the square and it was over $900. a month.

Good Luck with the book, Sue! I'm proud to know a published author!

hi patti

Hey - this is my first blog invitation. I also have a blog, on my website www.coalminedisaster.com or susankushnerresnick.com. I'm way overdue to post a blog, but I'm too busy with the actual book to do so.
I think we should find something to do with the Sharon Mart building in the center of town. It's gross and makes Sharon even more depressing than it already is. Does anyone know who owns it?

Town Recreation Director

Anyone know why our new recreation director quit after only a few months? Why has this been so quiet?

Pope Benedict XVI

Didn't most victims of clergy sexual abuse occur in MA? Didn't Cardinal Law move pedophile priests from one parish to another all over MA? Why would Pope Benedict visit Washington, and NYC and not make an appearance here? Wouldn't a healing mass for those victims in our area help?
I know the Pope did meet with some victims, but I don't believe it was enough. He should have come to Boston and addressed the people that were abused.

Madeline McCann

Madeline McCann is the child that was abducted while vacationing with her family in Portugal.
Now, I know that the parents were, or still are, being investigated as suspects, but come on, shouldn't the parents have been charged with "Negligence"? I mean really, who goes to a foreign country with friends, and leaves their three little children in a hotel room while going out to dinner. The hotel even offered babysitting services!

Join the Blog

Perhaps it's boredom, procrastination, or the weather...whatever it is, I decided to start a blog. Perhaps we're too old for facebook or myspace. I'm not sure. (I do know my children would die if they saw me on facebook.) So, I decided we needed a forum of our own. After chatting (on email) with everyone the last few days I came to the realization that we needed a space of our own to chat.

I was thinking - I wish I didn't have to email, then wait for a reply, and then email back.
I thought -wouldn't it be fun to write at any time, for any reason, and let anyone comment if they wanted to. Well, I didn't want to access my email address book again (I've been having too many computer glitches) and I didn't want to look up email addresses in the middle school phonebook. (That would entail finding my glasses which would create a whole new set of issues.)

So..... what do you think? Give it a try. Please join me in my new venture.

Let's see who is up to the technical challenge. All you have to do to reply is to set up a google account which is free. You use your email address and give yourself a "google" password to access this site.

Let's discuss things going on, check in with one another, chat, vent and have some fun.

Of course, you can whine,
chat while drinking wine,
or drink wine and whine.

The choice is yours!

Enjoy! Patti
